This is how i fared for the fashion quiz. Pathetic! not that it really concerns me tho, i get plenty of fashion tips from HK papers here... must say that youngsters nowadays are really rich and, yes, fashionable... to an extent that i suspect everyone has parents who own gold mines. no joke!

Went to watch 'The Devil Wears Prada' today. to be honest, i thought lowly of it when i first saw its trailer in Spore. tot it was some gorgeous but 'brainless' chick flick. it turns out the movie is rather deep and thought-provoking. everything in the show just so mirrors the reality. how girls go on diets to fit in, how one tends to lose oneself as she enters a 'different' world and blah blah blah...

i lost myself every now and then, and sometimes i felt really silly as i looked back... sometimes i hated myself, sometimes i hated others (oops), sometimes i wish i were someone else... (i guess) everyone goes through a period of self-doubt and gets lost once in a while, however, i feel they are the perfect opportunities for us to know who we truly are and learn and (hopefully) become a better person. just... don't get lost for too long before you start losing everything else around you...

and BOY! there were so many hotties in this movie! Gisele Bundchen made a guest appearance too and she looked SOOOO HOT! by that, i don't mean the way she dressed, but the way she looked. although she's not exactly those beautiful kinda girl, she has this attitude that makes her drop-deadly gorgeous! aahh... she's my new 'idol'~!

oh, and speaking of diets and weights... HK gov just banned models with BMI of 18 and below from taking the runway... they claimed that those 'skinny' models out there are protraying an unhealthy image and example to youngs girls these days... surveys also observed that 13.1% of HK gals are underweight and the media are now trying to 'undo' the message of 'one must be thin to be pretty' for that matter... hohohohoohoo~ finally... Hoorays to BIG girls like me~! wooot!
